  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 to cup bacon grease
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 lbs Livers cut into thin bite size portions
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 package (about 12oof frozen green beans cooked


  • Cut chicken livers in half. Combine flour with salt and pepper. Dredge chicken livers in the flour mixture. Heat bacon grease and butter in a skillet over medium heat until sizzling. Add chicken livers and sauté until lightly browned. Add broth and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Add cooked green beans, cover, and simmer until heated through.
