  • 4-5 tablespoons bacon grease
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 lb Liver


  • Soak liver in vinegar and water for 30 minutes. Remove liver and dry. Mix pepper and salt into flour. Roll liver in flour mixture and fry slowly in melted bacon grease. Turn when brown and repeat on both sides.
